S.O.          (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs (Export Promotion), Mumbai to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the following adjudicating authorities mentioned in column 4  of the Table below in respect of Show Cause Notices  in column (2) of the said Table and their names in column (3).
