Opinion

The tariff values of certain commodities are amended from time to time by issue of notification in the official gazette. This notification also seeks to amend the tariff values of various items. The tariff value of Gold has been increased from 422 per 10 gms to 424 per 10 gms and that of silver has been increased from 632 per Kg to 650 per Kg.  The comparative analysis of the changes are depicted in the table below:-
