Opinion

 

The Tariff Value of Brass scraps (all grades) has been decreased from US$ 4270 to US$ 4113 per MT. And of Poppy seeds, the tariff value is increased from US$ 3896 to US$ 5611 per MT.

Further, Gold falling under Chapter heading 71 or 98 on which benefit under Notification No. 12/2012-Cus dated 17.03.2012 at Sl. no. 321 & 323 is availed, the tariff value in reduced from US$ 531 per 10 grams to US$ 524 per 10 grams. For Silver on which benefit under Notification No. 12/2012-Cus dated 17.03.2012 is availed, the tariff value is increased from US$899 per kilogram to US$ 938 per kilogram. Board has amended Notification No. 36/2001-Cus(NT) dated 03.08.2001 accordingly.
