Subject:- Prohibition on export of milk powders(including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products -  Non-application of transitional arrangement under para 1.5 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 

S.O. (E)             In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) read with Para 2.1 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government, with immediate effect,  makes the following amendments in Notification No  23(RE – 2010)/2009-2014  dated   18th February, 2011.
 
2.                Transitional arrangements under para 1.5 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 shall not be applicable on export of milk powders(including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products under Notification No  23(RE – 2010)/2009-2014  dated   18th February, 2011.
 
3.        Effect of this notification:
 
Transitional arrangements will not be applicable for the export of milk powders (including skimmed milk powder, whole milk powder, dairy whitener and infant milk foods), Casein and Casein products export of which has already been prohibited vide Notification No  23(RE – 2010)/2009-2014  of 18th February, 2011.
